Four decades of evolution, technology and applied innovation

1983

The Beginning

The story of NAS begins in 1983, when Nikolaos Stylas founded a small technical business in Kozani. A workshop focused on electrical and industrial materials gradually evolved into a trusted partner for technicians, educational institutions and local industries.

1990-2000

Expansion of Technical Expertise

Throughout the 1990s, the company expanded its activities into electrical, electronic and industrial equipment. It built long-term partnerships with Greek and international suppliers, laying the foundations for future specialization in education and technology.

2004

Establishment of NAS O.E.

On August 10, 2004, the long-standing activity officially evolved into NAS — Nikolaos Ad. Stylas & Co. O.E. This milestone marked the transition from an individual business to an organized corporate structure with a clear mission: to offer reliable, modern and high-quality technological solutions for education and industry.

2005-2015

Entry into Education & PV in Greece & Cyprus

NAS invested strategically in advanced educational equipment for electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, physical sciences, STEM/STEAM and robotics. It became a key supplier to universities, polytechnic schools, vocational institutions and public education bodies across Greece. It also began the journey of photovoltaic installations in Greece & Cyprus.

2016-2020

Integration of Modern Technologies

The company introduced AR/VR applications, digital sensors, interactive platforms and hands-on training systems. NAS strengthened its role in shaping modern technical education, supporting institutions from primary to tertiary education.

2020-2023

Expansion into Renewable Energy & Emerging Technologies

NAS enriched its portfolio with specialized solutions for photovoltaics, electromobility, hydrogen, datacenters and industrial automation. It participated in landmark projects, such as renewable energy installations in Western Macedonia and Greece’s first pilot hydrogen station.

2023-2024

Research & Innovation Projects
